Day 1: Today we stop at Barton Grange garden centre for an hour before embarking on a scenic tour through the North Yorkshire Dales National Park. We stop at lunchtime in Kirby Lonsdale, a historic market town in a stunning location. Enjoy your lunchtime amongst these splendid historic buildings that line the quaint streets and squares of Kirby Lonsdale. This afternoon we drive through the stunning Ribblehead Valley stopping briefly for a photo opportunity alongside the magnificent Ribblehead Viaduct. Our afternoon stop will be in Settle – with a lovely market square and the famous ‘Naked Café’ Yes you can keep your clothes on.
Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel we board the coach and head first to Hebden Bridge. One of Vicky’s favourite places you will find this winner of Britain in Bloom still showing off some of its wonderful displays. The town has lots of pubs, cafes and small craft type shops. Day 1: This morning we head directly to Oxford with a comfort break on the way. Named ‘The City of Dreaming Spires’ this City has something for everyone – although famous world over for its University and place in history, today the City is a bustling cosmopolitan town with a mix of ancient and modern – making every corner you turn unique. You can choose to visit historical buildings, museums, restaurants and modern high street shops. Late afternoon we make our way the short distance to the 4* Jury’s Inn which is just a few miles outside the City Centre.
Day 2: Today is ‘a taste of the Cotswolds’ because there is so much to see and do here! This morning we head right through the heart of the Cotswolds stopping for our morning break at the pretty little town of Moreton in the Marsh. Moreton is a main high street full of little independently owned shops and cafes, with a number of charity shops. Our second stop of the day is on Broadway – a beautiful town full of honey-coloured buildings – simply picture perfect. Broadway’s long, flat high street will no doubt leave you wanting more. Day 1: This morning we head straight up to the amazing Barton Grange garden centre – this is one of our favourite garden centres! The choice of plants and garden ornaments is fantastic, the café, the staff – everything that makes for a great couple of hours. We then head the short distance to Morecambe, checking into the hotel early means we get the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure to enjoy this pretty seaside town.
Day 2: Today a circular tour of the Lake District that will take in the two popular towns of Bowness on Windermere and Ambleside. You can choose whether you would like to use the coach between the two towns or if you would like to (for an extra supplement) travel on the Lake Cruiser.

A really special opportunity to see some amazing firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute firework display choreographed to music followed by a finale display from organisers MLE Pyrotechnics. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are quite different to the material available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks – those that are for professional use only and the biggest available in the UK. The fireworks are waterproofed and this event will go ahead whatever the weather! Please bear in mind Arley Hall itself is not open today, we have access to the gardens only. Food, drink, alcohol, chairs are all welcome. BBQs not allowed and a gazebo requires a permit. The fireworks start at 9 pm so this will be quite a late return.

Day 1: This morning we head to the beautiful black & white town of Shrewsbury. Here you are dropped off right in the centre of town where you can choose how to spend your day – perhaps meander along the riverside, or take a cruise. The shopping and restaurants here are certainly plentiful, so lots to do for everybody.
Day 2: Our hunt for the perfect black & white village continues after our leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Today’s excursions are to the sleepy little village of Eardisland and close by the town of Leominster.

This afternoon we head the short distance to the Anderton Boat lift which was built to lift cargo boats the 50 feet from the River Weaver to the Trent & Mersey Canal. We enjoy a short cruise on the river before heading up the boat lift ourselves and enjoy some free time in the information centre and café here.
