We would like to gently remind everybody to be on time for your pickups for all trips. We recommend you are 10 minutes early at the bus stop. We cannot wait for anybody who is late, our coach runs to a tight schedule during the pickups. When it’s raining or cold it simply isn’t fair to leave other people waiting too. Enjoy a scenic drive through Cheshire to the market town of Leek where we get to explore the magnificent Food and Antique Market with plenty of time for lunch and bargain hunting. This afternoon we head to the Congleton Garden Centre which will be in full Autumn color.
Manjushri Buddhist Temple & the Lake District £17 E 8 pm
This morning we head to the Southern Lake District with a stop at the peaceful Manjushri Buddhist Temple where we are met by a meditation expert who will guide us through a 15-minute meditation session before heading out on a scenic journey of the Southern Lake District with a stop in Ulverston.
Fish & Chips in Cleveleys (included) and a run through the lights £29.50 L 11 pm
We head to Cleveleys with a short comfort break on the way. Cleveleys is a bustling, traditional seaside resort with a range of popular shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy as well as picture perfect views of the sea and miles of golden sands. At 5.30pm today we are booked in for fish, chips, mushy peas, bread, tea/coffee, and dessert – this is included in the price. Once dinner is finished the coach will pick you up and drive through the Blackpool Illuminations before our journey home. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the Blackpool lights in a more relaxed style. Please note that this trip does not stop in Blackpool.

Day 1: This morning we head down to the beautiful Victorian resort of Royal Leamington Spa which is full of shops and cafes to explore and the most beautiful Georgian and Victorian architecture. If shopping isn’t your thing, the huge parkland close by is well worth a visit. After a leisurely afternoon, we head to our hotel, the Bosworth Hall Hotel, and Spa where we have a carvery dinner included, and use of the swimming pool is complimentary.
Day 2: This morning we head to the heritage City of Lichfield. A real hidden treasure, Lichfield has a variety of both high street and independently owned shops and cafes for you to wander around. Stunning Lichfield Cathedral is set within the beautifully serene Cathedral Close and is a great place to visit. The 800-year-old cathedral is the third building on the site and has a varied and fascinating history.
Matlock & the Matlock Bath Illuminations (includes admission) £25 L midnight
We stop this morning at the High Legh Garden Centre before heading on a scenic journey through the Peak District National Park to the Victorian town of Matlock. Here we spend a few hours over lunchtime before heading the short distance to Matlock Bath where Queen Victoria herself visited and enjoyed watching the twinkling lights on the River Derwent. The following year the local people decided to have a parade of candlelit rowing boats to commemorate a year since the Queen’s visit. This tradition has carried on through the years but now the boats are somewhat brighter! A parade of around 10 illuminated boats sail the river and enjoy the entertainment in the park. We stay until after the firework display at 9.30pm.

Included: Dinner bed & breakfast at the pretty little seafront Monterey Hotel in Lytham St Anne’s. Situated in an ideal position close to both the seafront and the town centre this hotel is family owned and run.
Day 1: This morning we head to one of our all time favourite places, Barton Grange Garden centre, where we get to relax for around an hour and a half before continuing to our destination of Lytham St Anne’s, where we get to enjoy the full afternoon at leisure, plenty of time for a stroll along the prom, or a wander around the shops.
Day 2: This morning, after a full English breakfast we make the short journey up the coast to the beautiful village of Lytham, where we spend a few hours here to explore the pretty village, with its fantastic Pier. After lunch we take a scenic drive down to Liverpool for around one and a half hours – our drop off point is on the Albert Docks. Why not head out for a stroll along the Riverside, or head into Liverpool ONE for a spot of shopping?

The Gilsland Hall Hotel & Spa Sitting proudly in 140 acres of manicured garden and natural woodland with spectacular views, this property dates back to the 1700s and offers a lift, spa treatments, swimming pool, and a cocktail lounge.
Day 1: This morning we visit the Brockholes 250 acre nature reserve and its floating visitor village before heading to Settle where you will board the Settle to Carlisle railway where you will ride through the beautiful lush green landscape and views of the Lakeland fells and through the highest station in England at 1150ft. Your coach will meet you in Carlisle to take you the short distance to your hotel where you get a little free time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2: After breakfast this morning we embark on a journey along the historic route of Hadrians Wall. The wall was built to guard the wild North-West frontier of the Roman Empire and is steeped with history. We take a stop at the Housesteads Roman Fort near Hexham, where we drop off at the visitor center. Here you will find information about Hadrians Wall and a café. Our stop is for 1.5 hours – enough time for you to take the walk up to the old fort and museum if you wish. It is around a 10 minute, fairly strenuous walk to get to the fort itself. We depart the visitor center and head for Hexham, once the haunt of marauding Vikings now proudly holds the title of England’s favorite market town – today is the market day! The town center here is filled with winding streets, with the Hexham Abbey at its hub.
Day 3: Today after our leisurely breakfast we cross the border into Scotland. Our journey follows the Galloway Coast to the pretty fishing village of Kirkcudbright where we have a few hours over lunchtime. We continue our journey through Dumfriesshire to the border village of Moffat where we spend the afternoon. You will have enough time to walk the riverbank, see the Victorian park or perhaps sample a pint in the narrowest hotel in the world!
Day 4: This morning we head over to the Lake District. One of our favourite towns here is Keswick, it has shops, restaurants, museums and of course today is market day so will be bustling with activity – stalls selling local produce such as cheese from Cartmel, and the Lakes Gin. The serene Derwentwater is around a 15 minute leisurely stroll from the town centre and there is a lovely lakeside walk – if you prefer a quieter day this is a lovely option.
Day 5: This morning we bid a fond farewell to Gilsland Hall Hotel but we
aren’t finished with our holiday yet! Today we enjoy a full day out by firstly taking in the breath-taking scenery as we amble down the Kirkstone Pass to our stop at Bowness. We enjoy our lunchtime here, and if you would like to take a cruise on Lake Windermere it’s really easy to arrange with either your driver or the coach park attendants.
