Springtime scenic tour taking in some breath-taking views as we skirt the edge of the Shropshire Hills area of outstanding natural beauty and with a comfort stop on the way, arriving at the Down Inn where we enjoy dinner. Which is a delicious carvery and dessert followed by tea or coffee? This afternoon we head to the pretty little town of Bridgnorth, famous for having a ‘high town’ and ‘low town’ which are connected by a funicular railway.

We head straight up to the Lake District with a comfort break arriving just in time for lunch at a traditional English Inn. We enjoy a Sunday Lunch (veggie option available) with dessert and tea or coffee before reboarding the coach. Enjoy a scenic guided tour through the heart of the Lake District arriving in Bowness on Windermere with enough time to explore the town. At 3:45 pm we board our boat for a 30-minute cruise to Ambleside enjoying stunning mountain & lake scenery along the way. The coach awaits you at Ambleside!
Wednesday 14th March Buxton & the High Peak Canal £32:00(M)
As we leave North Wales we stop for a comfort break at the High Legh Garden Centre (near Lymm) on departure we head over the scenic Derbyshire Hills. We stop at the Victorian Spa Town of Buxton where we have enough time for a wander around and a spot of lunch. This afternoon is a real treat – we board the Judith Mary Canal boat (fully enclosed and heated) where we enjoy sandwiches & hot scones. You will need to be able to walk down a few steps to get on board the boat.

Day 1:- Today we head for the charming medieval Cotswolds town of Tewkesbury, arriving late lunchtime, we will spend the afternoon here. You will find an eclectic mix of independent retailers and modern high street stores – if shopping isn’t your thing you may choose to explore one the finest examples of medieval architecture in the Tewkesbury Abbey.
Day 2:- We head into the heart of the Cotswolds visiting Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burton-on-the-Water. These beautiful villages won’t leave you disappointed and our drive will give a guided commentary along the way.
Day 3:- A full day excursion to Bath, which is about an hour from our hotel. Described as ‘the golden city’ you won’t be disappointed with this beautiful, interesting and vibrant City. You will find shopping, museums, galleries, Roman Spa baths and the wonderful Bath Abbey. We enjoy around 4 hours free time to explore Bath before returning to the hotel.
Day 4:- After a leisurely breakfast we pack up and head towards home. We are not quite done though- we will have our lunchtime stop at Bridgenorth where you will find the ‘High Town’ connected to the ‘Low Town’ by a funicular railway. We have around two hours here.
