We would like to gently remind everybody to be on time for your pickups for all trips. We recommend you are 10 minutes early at the bus stop. We cannot wait for anybody who is late, our coach runs to a tight schedule during the pickups. When it’s raining or cold it simply isn’t fair to leave other people waiting too. Day 3: Today we relax and have a slightly late departure from the hotel, enjoying a half day excursion.

Speke Hall is located on the banks of the River Mersey. Originally built in 1530, it has an atmospheric interior that spans many periods. A fully equipped Victorian kitchen and servants’ hall enable visitors to see ‘behind the scenes’. The restored garden has spring bulbs, a rose garden, summer border and streatm garden and there are woodland walks and magnificient views of the Mersey Basin and North Wales hills from here.

Day 1: A scenic tour through the Southern Lake District stopping at the exceptionally beautiful Holker Hall – one of our favourite properties to visit and the home of Lucy Cavendish.
Day 2: This morning we head over the border into Scotland with stops at both Gretna Green and Kirkudbright.
Day 3: A full day trip to Silloth and the Solway Coast. Silloth is a beautiful town in the far North of the Lake District with glorious views out to the hills of Southern Galloway and backed by the Lake District Fells. The town itself has a peaceful atmosphere and is well known for its large grassy spaces.

Day 1: This morning we stop at the British Ironworks Centre near Oswestry for a round an hour. From here we head to the National Trust Weir Garden, which is a historic garden featuring an impressive glasshouse, grassy orchards and a bird hide. This afternoon we make our way to the Commodore Hotel in Llandrindod Wells where our evening meal is included!
Day 2:After our leisurely breakfast this morning we board the coach and travel to Glansevern Gardens which is positioned romantically on the banks of the River Severn and offers over 25 stunning acres of diverse landscape and exotic planting. This afternoon we head to Cwm Weeg, which is centred around a 15th Century Farmhouse. The gardens here are full of hidden surprises like fountains, tree sculptures and a grotto.

Day 1: This morning we head first to the Gordale Garden Centre on the Wirral where we pause for breakfast (they do lovely food here) for around an hour. We then head directly to Southport where we will enjoy some free time in the town before checking into our hotel. No evening meal is included so you could wander the short distance to one of the many eateries this town has to offer, or perhaps relax in the hotel instead.
Day 2: This morning after our leisurely breakfast we load our cases into the coach and enjoy another full day in Southport. A great choice for a relaxing mid-Summer break!
