We would like to gently remind everybody to be on time for your pickups for all trips. We recommend you are 10 minutes early at the bus stop. We cannot wait for anybody who is late, our coach runs to a tight schedule during the pickups. When it’s raining or cold it simply isn’t fair to leave other people waiting too. We cannot offer a refund if you miss the bus. If you have problems getting to us, please call the out of hours number as you may be able to catch us up. 07759 494146. Your hotel: The Queens Hotel is ideally situated on the quieter bank of the River Ouse but still right in the heart of the City. Hotel facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryer, tea/coffee, lift to rooms, telephone.

Day 1:

This morning we head directly to York, with a comfort break on the way. York is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe and there is so much to do here! Visit the mighty York Minster, visit the Yorick Viking Centre or the Railway museum with over 100 locomotives on display. If that isn’t enough there is excellent shopping in York, perhaps visit the ‘Shambles’ with its ancient buildings. Whatever you enjoy, York literally has something for everyone!

Day 2:

After our breakfast, the day is at leisure to enjoy this magnificent City!

Day 3

This morning after our hearty breakfast we load our luggage and leave York behind us. Today isn’t quite finished though! We head to the pretty, traditional spa town of Ilkley, where you will find some of Yorkshire’s finest tearooms and independent shops & boutiques – a truly lovely place to visit.

BOURNEMOUTH

Included: Dinner bed and breakfast at the Bournemouth Sands Hotel, coach travel throughout with itinerary as described below. Entry to the Beaulieu motor museum.

Your hotel: The Bournemouth Sands, Bournemouth is ideally located in the West Cliff, just a short stroll from the cliff top park which offers panoramic sea views as far as the Isle of Wight. The hotel has a newly extended restaurant, a coffee shop, pool table and there is a bus stop right outside for those not wanting to walk up the hill on the way back! There is free Wi-Fi in public areas, tea/coffee facilities & live entertainment each evening.

Please note: the lift is undergoing work this week. There will be no working lift in the hotel.

Day 1 (Sat):

After our pick-ups, we travel to Bournemouth with comfort stops along the way.

Day 2 (Sun):

A full day at leisure to explore and enjoy the beautiful seaside resort of Bournemouth – or relax in the hotel if you prefer. Perfect for a quiet Winter getaway, Bournemouth has beautiful white sandy beaches, Victorian parkland, museums and plenty of cafés to keep you busy today!

Day 3(Mon):

After our breakfast today, we head out to Christchurch Market which is simply choc-a-bloc with very loyal local traders, boasting a wide range of stalls from fast food to fashion and fresh fish, from local produce to books and household goods and all manner of traditional and quirky goods in between. This afternoon takes us to Lymington.

Day 4(Tue):

A full day out to include a scenic tour around the New Forest & the Beaulieu motor museum (entry included) The National Motor Museum has over 250 vehicles telling the story of motoring from World Land Speed Record Breakers to Formula 1 racers. Visit Jack Tucker’s Garage, which recreates the sights, sounds and smells of a typical country garage from the 1930s. As well as this, take a ride around the attraction on the high-level Monorail or see the sights from the replica 1912 open-topped London Bus

Day 5(Wed):

After our breakfast, we head home, with comfort breaks along the way.
